At Old Colony YMCA, we're dedicated to ensuring that children have the opportunity to explore their potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Whether it's through youth sports, summer camps, or educational programs, our goal is to ensure that every child has a safe, fun filled experience. 

Child protection is our top priority year round, but during Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, we amplify our efforts with Five Days of Action. This weeklong initiative aims to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and empower our communities to prevent it. By taking part in this campaign and through implementing ongoing abuse prevention practices, we can all commit to the safety of all children in our care.  

To support this initiative, organizations like Childhelp, Common Sense Media, and Committee for Children have provided valuable resources to help us educate ourselves and take action against child sexual abuse.

Remember that prevention is not just a one-time effort, it's an ongoing commitment.
