The Y provides children across the U.S. with access to swim lessons and water safety education. The Y introduced the country to group swim lessons over 110 years ago in 1909. Now, as one of the largest community-based organizations in the country, we teach more than a million children, especially those most at-risk of drowning, invaluable water safety and swimming skills each year.

What if I don't know what level to pick?
No problem! Our swim instructors can help you with class placement and we even offer in the water swim tests to really find the right fit for your child.
Is there an age limit?
NO! We teach swim lessons to all ages and skill level. While we teach a lot of youth swim lessons, we also offer adult and even private lessons.
Do I or my child need to know how to swim?
NO! We welcome all skill levels and are reach to teach as long as you are willing to learn.
Trainings & Certifications
We've partnered with Jeff Ellis & Associates, utilizing their Aquatic Risk Management Program that provides proactive standards, policies, and procedures grounded in risk-management principles. Training include but are not limited to CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and AED training.
